Petersfield and District Beekeeping Association is almost 100 years old and produces a great product local people like the provenance of as well as its taste.

Steve Reid from the Association talks to Mike Waddington about the training they offer (in February, with equipment provided) about keeping, swarming and crops.

Steve explains what is involved - including the right equipment and avoiding the inevitable stings.

He explains how they rehomed a swarm from Petersfield's Physic Garden (having made a home in their rhubarb forcer!) and why the pastime is ethical and sustainable.
