Melody is a Registered Veterinary Technician and a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, training with all different species of parrots! She has been working at the Medical Center for Birds since 2008 and in 2015 created her training business, Busy Beaks Academy. Working at the veterinary hospital with primary focus on training, Melody is able to help create training plans and enrichment goals for patients during their stay at the hospital, as well as with their owners once they go home. When she isn’t training parrots, Melody enjoys teaching Puppy Start Right course with her training partner and basic manners at the local animal shelter.
