In our reactive culture, we should take some time to think about how we talk about things and our attitudes toward them. 1 Peter 2:1 says, "Put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander." This week, we look at some ways that this plays out.

Something that can be easily overlooked is the importance of regular preaching in formal training. It can be easy to get caught up in all kinds of other programs and classes and forget that the primary means of growth is the faithful preaching of the Word.

I have been doing some interviews with local pastors on the subject of expositional preaching and wanted to take some time to talk about some of the questions with you all. I hope you enjoy it.

What does it mean to be Sober-Minded? And why is it so important? That is the subject of our podcast today.
