Trajectory of Hope works from the inside out to demystify how the legacy of racism and injustice in America impacts BIPOC.  Their integrated approach uncovers implicit bias through community-based research, training, and coaching. Trajectory of Hope drives organizations to dismantle oppressive structures that uphold systemic racism in order to fuel institutional change!

In this episode, meet the founders- Dr. Troya Ellis & Britney Foster, together they are transforming educators and elevating black joy. Britney's background includes helping organize and implement restorative practices at the school as an alternative to suspensions. Britney has over the years collected stories and narratives from whole school communities surrounding discipline outcomes and their effects on both students and educators. Dr. Troya has worked in the field of education for over ten years in urban communities with historically underserved students and families that are often voiceless.
