If you haven’t filed taxes in a number of years, you’re sitting there probably thinking, “How am I ever going to file them? I don’t even remember what happened! I don’t know where the W-2s are, the 1099s are. I don’t have any access and the employers aren’t going to be talking to me.” Well, guess what we can get what’s called transcripts. From the Internal Revenue Service. This will give us a good tool to start with and say hey, this is what they have received. These are the W-2s, these are the 1099s, and that will give us the ballpark of where we can start doing your taxes. So nothing is impossible. All we need to do is find a starting point and then we can work from there to complete your taxes and get you into compliance.
