Dr. Ski Chilton is a professor in the department of physiology and pharmacology at Wake Forest School of Medicine in North Carolina; he also served as assistant professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is widely recognized in academia and industry for his work on nutrition in the context of the human genome and has been an early pioneer in the area of personalized nutrition. Dr. Chilton is also founder and president of the not-for-profit Heroes Helping Heroes, which helps orphans and foster children in the US and Africa; and Chairman of the Board of the Persecution Project Foundation, which brings crisis relief, education and hope to victims of civil war, genocide and religious persecution within Sudan.
