A very brief corrections episode, covering the final page of issue 19 "Command Performances!" which I somehow managed to totally omit from episode 40! It's a critical page, with information that has ramifications for the continuing story, plus the pay off that this entire issue was building to!

The Autobots head out on a recon mission this week, to collect vital information from the Decepticons. Of course, the Decepticons have plans of their own... Another new character is introduced, and lots of parts of the story start moving, giving us a bit of a hint about where things are headed - Though thanks to Buster's vision from the Matrix of Creation, we kind of know what to expect already.

Yet more new characters join the roster this week, including Blaster, who seems to be a very complicated character, and there's the most grisly and horrible thing we've seen in this comic since the infamous issue #5!

With Prime's help, he finds out exactly what they mean. Megatron decides to reveal his comeback to Shockwave, which goes about as well as you'd expect, and a plot thread laid quite a while ago and then left dormant now finally comes back into focus!

A short promotional preview comic called "The Special Teams Have Arrived!" which was handed out for free in toy shops in the U.K. gives us a glimpse into the future. A future in which the Autobots and the Decepticons each have two teams of Transformers who can combine into a much larger than usual Transformer. Part 1 of Second Generation is much the same, only with a bit more time and a bunch more pages! Fasten your seatbelts Autobuddies and Deceptichums because this is a breakneck speed introduction to 24 new characters!
