In The State newspaper on April 20, four days after the shooting at Columbiana Centre, we read this: "Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott...said gun violence demands a whole community effort rather than a piecemeal approach. 'It’s not a law enforcement problem,' he said. Schools, neighborhoods, churches, the courts, all need to join together to confront the problem. “We’ve never had that. Nobody wants to come together,' he said." How can we, disciples of Christ, come together and get to work on addressing such a hot topic issue?
