Matt Davidson is in his fifteenth year leading Timothy Christian Schools the largest Christian school in Illinois. He and his team raised over $70 million for improvements, real estate, programs, and initiatives. The school has earned a National Blue Ribbon of Excellence from the U.S. Department of Education and increased enrollment to full capacity, creating waitlists.
Davidson frequently consults for private schools, nonprofits, and businesses and speaks at Christian school conferences on leadership, team-building, parenting, client engagement, and more.
Matt has dedicated his career to Christian education, starting as a U.S. History and Bible teacher and coaching basketball and baseball. He transitioned to administration, becoming a dean and principal, and then took his first head position at the largest private school in Arizona before joining Timothy Christian Schools.
Matt serves on several nonprofit boards, including Reclaim13, which fights child sex trafficking, and Coaches vs. Cancer with the American Cancer Society. Davidson chairs the Illinois Coalition of Nonpublic Schools board, representing all private schools in the state, and acts as the state representative in D.C. for the Council for American Private Education. Matt is also the lead elder at his church and a board member for the Timothy Foundation.
He has been married for thirty-two years and has three married children. He is a proud grandfather of four, with two more on the way.
