The gospel has the power to sanctify us completely: spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). When we are born-again our spirit is made perfect. Our soul (mind, will, and emotions), however, must undergo transformation. As we learn to submit to the Lord, He changes us from the inside out, healing us from our past and conforming us to the image of Christ so we reflect His glory in and through our lives.
