Is the growing number of minors identifying as transgender a result of:

1.      A safe environment is now available.

2.      Minors going through typical confusion are encouraged to identify as transgender by peers, media, and their own feelings.  This halts the natural tendency to trend back to the biologically assigned sex.

3.      How much of the influence on minors is extrinsic vs. intrinsic? 

I don’t have the answers or the research; however, I would suggest all three are contributing to the rise in Transgender Identity.

I believe the church is far behind on ministry in this area and seems to fear bringing it up.   This must change if we are to reach this diverse community we call the United States.
