Imagine living thirty years of your life unhappy. Displeased not at the political climate of our nation or because your favorite team couldn’t find a championship with a flashlight and a map, but because you were identified as the wrong gender.

Now imagine having the strength to rise out of the darkness and into the light only to find you are all alone.

Transgender individuals face fear, rejection, and possibly suicide with one only goal, to be who they truly are.

My guest is a trans woman who is a strong advocate for the LGBTQ community, a writer, music teacher and one of the hosts of queer mind which is in its second season on Apple and Spotify. Kadie Renee.
