Transgender Pulls Gun on Street Preacher

Listen Later

On or around March 11-12, 2025, Pastor Kevin Kihara of Christian Forgiveness Ministries (CFM San Francisco) was street preaching in broad daylight near 4th & Market Streets / Union Square area. He was sharing a message about God's love, including statements like "God made men to be men" and "God didn't make a man to be a woman," in the context of gender and biblical creation.

A person (described variably as a transgender man/woman, or "trans person" in reports) approached, became agitated, and pulled a black handgun from their bag, pointing it at the pastor's face from just inches away. The individual reportedly said "I should" (in response to an implied or rhetorical question about attacking), then lowered the weapon, said "Shut the fuck up," and walked away angrily.

The pastor remained remarkably calm, responding with lines like:

"Hey man, it’s up to you if you want to pull that on me."

"Even though you pulled a gun on me, I still love you. I still bless you."

"Lord have mercy on you... This means that you don’t even know who you are."

No shots were fired, and no one was physically injured. The pastor later uploaded the full extended clip to his church's Facebook page and YouTube, titling it variations of "Transgender Pulls Gun on Street Preacher in San Francisco". Coverage and Reactions Right-leaning/conservative outlets (e.g., InfoWars, Not the Bee, RVM News, Daily Mail) framed it as an example of "trans violence," "leftist aggression," or intolerance toward Christian/biblical views on gender. They praised the pastor's composure and non-retaliation as Christ-like.

Social media (especially on X/Twitter): The clip exploded with reposts using inflammatory language like "trans demon," "mentally ill trans person," "unhinged tranny," or "trans lunatic." Many posts highlighted it as evidence of escalating threats to free speech/Christian expression, with some calling for charges (though none appear to have been widely reported).

Skeptics (e.g., some Reddit threads in r/Christianity): A few users questioned if the video was staged or fake, citing the pastor's unusually calm reaction and the gun's appearance, but most discussions accepted it as real while debating the ethics of street preaching or transgender issues.

Mainstream/local San Francisco media coverage was minimal or absent, which some conservative commentators attributed to bias against criticizing transgender individuals in a liberal city.

The video has been re-uploaded and reshared multiple times on YouTube and X, often with sensational titles. Recent reposts (even into 2026) continue to circulate it with hashtags emphasizing the "demon" angle or demonic possession themes.

If you're looking for the original footage, search YouTube for "Transgender Pulls Gun on Street Preacher Kevin Kihara" — multiple channels host the extended clip from the pastor's ministry.

This event fits into broader online debates about street evangelism, transgender rights, gun threats, and perceived two-tiered responses to ideological confrontations. Stay safe out there.
