Transitioning from a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical Unit/Tele Floor to the Intensive Care Unit is a HUGE change, but heres a Hint (Time Management)
Medical-surgical nursing has evolved from an entry-level position to an adult health specialty which I noticed is no longer viewed as stepping-stone but is the solid rock and the backbone of every nursing community. Then when you get the chance go into the Critical Care Unit and here is my personal experience my fellow Nurses.
