The transitions we go through in life can lead to transformation if we walk in surrender.

The prophet Isaiah experienced a powerful transformation in his lifetime. In a transition of leadership over Judah, Isaiah had a compelling and unusual encounter with the Lord (Is. 6). Take a moment to pause and visualize this with the Holy Spirit. Isaiah saw the Lord seated on a throne. He saw the Lord, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Isaiah saw the glorious and terrifying sight of angels flying and crying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory” (Is. 6:3).

King Uzziah, an earthly king, dies and the Spirit of God grants Isaiah to peer into the throne room to view the One who is always seated on the throne.

During an earthly transition, Isaiah gains insight that beckons a response. The Spirit of God gives Isaiah an understanding and fresh view of heaven, launching him into his destiny as a mouthpiece to draw the people of Judah back to God. Isaiah’s sending does not happen until after his seeing. His heart and mind were flooded with another reality that provoked him to cry, “Here I am! Send me” (Is. 6:8).

There is an invitation from the Father to come and see, to experience Him, and be shaped by His love amid a shifting world.

Listen intently as Pastor Paul Yadao expounds on Isaiah 6 in a compelling and marking message from the Isaiah 6 encounter. May the Lord grant you a fresh vision and draw you close.
