I will be sharing with you a writing from the Story Story Night on Boise from February 28th, 2023.

The Rev. Dr. Megan Rohrer is the first openly transgender pastor ordained in the Lutheran church. The pastor of Grace Lutheran Church and the Community Chaplain Coordinator for the San Francisco Police Department, Megan served for over a decade as a chaplain for the homeless and hungry in San Francisco. Megan was a finalist for the Lambda Literary award, received an honorable mention as an Unsung Hero of Compassion by Wisdom in Action, with His Holiness the Dali Lama and was featured on Season 5 of Netflix's Queer Eye.

As a young, queer, trans (genderqueer) clergy person, Jonah has been called into ministry to build the church as queer space and organize communities and churches towards justice and liberation. Jonah believes that church can and should be queer AF, artistically inspiring, boldly committed to the liberation of all people, and visible in the streets.
