This is a podcast about transplants. About people who have moved from one environment to a very different environment. From a big city like New York, for example, to rural Louisiana. From Chicago to Osaka. From a small town on Long Island to the vast urban sprawl of of LA. Moves that have shaken up, and usually turned around, a person's view of the world, and of themselves. What has this major change done to the psyche of the person who left one place for an entirely different place?  The answers are probably not simple, or clear, or maybe even possible to articulate.  But we'll try.
