As a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (Multiphase Processes), Aliyar has been involved in characterization of liquid Interfaces & colloids, dynamic surface properties, physical-chemistry & kinetics of adsorbed layers of complex fluids (surfactants, proteins, enzymes and nanoparticles), Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulations (CFD) and biomedical engineering for more than 20 years at Max Planck Institute for Colloids and Interfaces (MPIKG, 2006-2015), Technical University of Berlin, Dresden, and Helmholtz Center (2016-2023), Universities of Sharif and Tehran (2001-2006, 2013-2020).
