During the Spring of 2020, prior to district closures, Superintendent HD Chambers sat down in the studio with Richard Torres (Alief ISD Director of Transportation) and Ron Scroggins (Alief ISD Bus Driver). They touched on various transportation topics, including the changing landscape of school bus transportation, enhanced bus safety measures, why school bus driver shortages remain a problem, and the continued importance of each Transportation staff member, who are often the first and last district employee a student will see each day.
