1. A proud look

2. Hands that shed innocent blood

3. A wicked heart

4, Wicked feet, always eager to do evil

5. Lying witness

6. Lying tongue

7. Troublemaker

I wanted him to shed more light, what is a proud look, for instance?

"It is a mien, an attitude, body language, it has only one message, 'I am all that and more!' it is ascribing to oneself more that is necessary or worthy.

I had a fair idea of what the others might mean, but I wanted his take on them. As I made to ask, he hurried me on. 

"Hurry, there is one more sign that you must read before you can be said to have finished today's lesson."

I was already getting tired, but I was not going to call it quits until I got a certification of completion.

The last sign read; 

BEWARE OF THE LADY OF THE NIGHT

"She will reduce you to nothing."

I asked him what the sign meant, and he said, "a man in adultery has lost the use of his senses. He may be unaware of walking on the path of destruction, fooling around with shame and disgrace, and sometimes even death. Why would anyone in his right mind put fire on his chest or walk on live coal?".

"What? Was he hoping to escape unburnt?"

Lesson learned, I was tired, and ready to return home. 

My guide finished it off by saying, "Son, there are many traps in life's journey. You have to make up your mind; you would not be a victim. If you heed the warnings that God in His mercy has placed on your path, you would be fine, but if you do not, you would be wounded.

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches…(Revelations 2:7)
