In this episode I do an even deeper dive into "The Body Keeps Score" and discuss traumatized client testimonials as well as trauma I've experienced in my own life. Having self awareness and accepting/acknowledging our trauma is the key to making this world a better place. If we never seek healing, our body will store the trauma we so badly want to release, causing you to subconsciously move through life traumatizing others.
Webster defines trauma as anything that is "a deeply depressing or disturbing experience". When was the last time you felt deep pain? Whether it be emotional, physical or mental discomfort. What did it make you feel and how did you choose to handle it?
We all experience various traumas in life and most times at no fault of our own.
Throughout this discussion I analyze the deep effects this can have if you do not seek to empower yourself and acknowledge your pain. If you continue to suppress emotions and move through life as if your trauma never existed, it can have detrimental permanent effects on your body. This episode is my attempt to teach and learn with others, healthy steps we can take to avoid becoming the pain that has traumatized
us.
