Living in a war zone can be highly traumatic especially when you are a child. When the war finishes, the trauma still often impacts the life of the survivors. My guest in this show is Mahdieh Lili Bakhtiari who spent her early years living in Iran at the time of the Iran/ Iraq war. Years later Lili's health depreciated. She was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, fibromyalgia and severe anxiety. Through her own journey to recover from her own health problems, Lili discovered EFT and Mindfulness Based Inner RePatterning. In this interview Lili shares how these two techniques have helped her and also how she now helps other survivors of war trauma deal with the emotional and physical legacy of living in a war zone.

About: Lili Bakhtiari, is an Advanced EFT and a Mindfulness Based Inner RePatterning practitioner. She is an expert in working with childhood traumas and also chronic illnesses. She was suffering from AS, Ankylosing spondylitis (type of arthritis) and Fibromyalgia and severe anxiety for so many years. She has been able to heal herself with EFT and MBIR.
During her amazing journey of discovering and digging deep in her past with EFT, she managed to find the core root of her problems, which was mainly linked to the fact that she was born in war time. So she has dedicated her work to helping people with PTSD in particular for people who have experienced living in war zones.
Now she is running her own group classes and work on variety of subjects and also promote EFT in Iranian community as well.
