In this episode, I discuss my recent trip to Universal Studios Hollywood. I toured a few hotels in the area and took a sightseeing tour of Hollywood at night. I visited Super Nintendo World for the first time and utilized the Express Pass. I also conquered my fears and attended Halloween Horror Nights. In this episode, my 14 year old daughter and I spent the day at SeaWorld in San Diego. Although there are lots of animals to see, she was interested in riding the roller coasters. We picked a weekday in mid-August and the crowds were minimal. We were able to do so much in just a short amount of time. Listen to hear all about this fun, quick trip.

A huge thank you to all of my listeners! August 15 marked the first anniversary of Travel Adventures with Jaime. It has been such a fun journey this last year and I want to thank all of my guests who have volunteered to share their vacations with us. This year has been amazing and I am excited for what next year has in store.

I also discuss my recent tour at Disneyland, Cultivating the Magic. As the only person who booked the tour this morning, I was given a wonderful two-hour tour learning about the plants and trees that make Disneyland Park so special. This tour was great and I highly recommend anyone interested in learning a bit of the history behind the architecture of Disney landscaping to take this tour. If you don't think you are a fan of plants, you will be by the end of this tour!

On this episode, my guest Margie was invited on the preview cruise for Utopia of the Seas. This is Royal Caribbean's newest cruise ship and the second largest ship in the fleet. This cruise will sail 3-and 4-night sailings from Port Canaveral. This ship is known as the The World's Biggest Weekend because there is so much to do on these shorter sailings. From toga parties to sliding down the Abyss, Utopia of the Seas has something for everyone. Margie also gives some great insight about Coco Cay and Thrill Water Park.

In this episode, I discuss our recent sailing on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. We sailed from the Port of Los Angeles on June 24 on a four night sailing with stops in Catalina and Ensenada. This was the first time that our oldest daughter sailed as an adult and it was interesting navigating this new phase in life. Royal Caribbean has so much to do on their ships and we had a great time. We did the Escape Room and tried Izumi for the first time.

On this episode, I discuss my upcoming cruise on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. This cruise is a little different because it is the first time I will be sailing with adult children. We also have two people who have never cruised before so hopefully they will have a positive experience. 

I also discuss what we booked ahead of time and some of the activities that we are looking forward to participating in. This is our second time sailing on this ship and itinerary so I can't wait to see if we enjoy it this time as much as we did the first time.

On this episode, my guest Chris talks about a recent sailing on Celebrity's newest ship, the Celebrity Ascent. Chris and his partner George, planned this sailing to celebrate George's 50th birthday. On this episode, Terra and Darren continue to discuss a recent trip that they took to Rome. In part two, they talk about their days in Rome with a tour to the Vatican, a trip to the Pantheon, and an emotional meal that brought Darren to tears.

They rented a flat through Marriott that had three bedrooms so it was able to accommodate their large family. The tours that they booked were through Tours by Locals. For the Catacombs tour they booked it with a guide named Valentina Santoro who they felt did an amazing job. Their Colosseum tour was booked with a guide named Pietro Petrelli.

The app that they used in Rome to purchase tickets for the bus system: MooneyGo

When traveling back to the United States, they dowloaded the Mobile Passport Control (MPC) to make going through customs a little bit faster.

This was the gelato shop that they visited frequently! Gunther Gelato Italiano
