Possibly my favorite location that I visited in Cuba, Viñales is the subject of this travel review. I describe the beautiful mogotes, the tall rock formations that dot the valley, and the patchwork of tobacco farms scattered between them. I also discuss the difficulty of finding the hiking trails around the valley without a guide, and why I think it is worth seeing a cigar rolling demonstration even if you aren't a smoker. Viñales is also one of the cheapest towns I visited, and I tell you about where to find the cheap restaurants in town, as well as how much to bargain for your casa particular.
