Traveling can expand our perspective in so many ways. It's a chance to learn about different cultures, to experience new things, and an opportunity for self-discovery. However, while traveling, it can be easy to stick to old habits; only interact with people who speak your own language; and to not pursue a trip that takes you beyond trending spots on your social media's "For You Page". This can easily become a missed opportunity to really learn about a different culture.
