A short video of a 2 day north to south crossing of the Sierra Nevada from Pradollano to Lanjar贸n in July 2025.
Route takes in Refugio Elorrieta, Laguna de Lanjar贸n (bivouac), Refugio Pe帽on Colorado, Refugio Vivac Loma de C谩帽ar, Piedra de los Pajeros and Loma de C谩帽ar, finishing at the Mirador de C谩帽ar above Lanjar贸n.
During this hike we also visited the source of the R铆o Lanjar贸n which lies about 200 meters east of the Laguna de Lanjar贸n. The second day's descent of 1300 meters and 13 kilometers to the finish was tough as we descended pathless terrain into the heat of the day.
