TRC: Jagged Edge “Jagged Era” Review

Listen Later

An in depth review of Jagged Edge's debut album "Jagged Era." Released in 1997, this was JD's attempt at having a successful male R&B Group and honestly it was a hit or miss album but more hits than misses. This album was a great opportunity for the group to get their feet wet and a much needed stepping stone before really cementing their status with "J.E. Heartbreak." Taking all direction from Jermaine Dupri, there were numerous Hip Hop influences throughout the album, some good and some not so good but they made it work and the little talent that they have (The Twins) shined through. Everything is back to the original format, provided a concrete schedule for the next month and other random stuff (business as usual). Just opinions from my side about the albums (lyrics, concept, jokes, etc). Requests are always welcome. Follow me on twitter @bluntcuzicar365.
