Matthew 6:19-34

Money and possessions can easily gain power over us. Money has this power because it is sly and deceptive so you can be greedy and not know it when we compare ourselves to others. It is the unwavering trust in God alone that sets us free from power earthly treasures have over us so we can build up treasures that matter.

Key Verse: No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. (Matthew 6:24)
