Why does it have to be so hard to be Christian? Very often we’re taught that being a Christian means that God will bless us with success. But that often contradicts our common experience: that the Christian life is hard. Very often we’re not sure how to keep going in our Christian faith, let alone in Christian ministry. In 2 Corinthians 4, we're taught a key truth: God deliberately keeps his servants weak, so that the glory may go to God. Knowing this will help us to persevere and not lose heart when things inevitably get hard.
