This week, the Dads shared a warm six-pack from Evil Genius, from Pottstown, PA. The brew they're drinking is Stacy's Mom, which is a heavier IPA - 7.5% ABV. After a mutual agreement that this beer is f**king tasty, the Dads shift the show into the weekly catch-up. Josh has another repeat week of doing the same thing -- one could really argue that his section is copy & pasted. He did get food poisoning though, so there's that. Rich had the solar panels finally put in and dealt with a hectic week. Suck it up princess.
Kudos to Josh because he knew what it was like to be a Prepared dad by bringing his
book! The Dads begin their reading from ‘Be Prepared: A Practical Handbook for New Dads’. With a reading from pages 89-91, the Dads discussed 'Your Mental Health' and the importance of it. The show then segues to the topic of the night...
Treat Yo-self: The importance of self-care and self-focus while being a parent. A healthy and satisfied YOU makes for a healthy and satisfying parenting experience for THEM, so be sure you’re not squeezing in the time for yourself but making it a routine time for yourself. Remember as well, there is a difference between self-indulgence and self-care.
The show then shifts to "Shit-uations" with some hilarious readings by Josh from FML.com. You really start to appreciate your situations with some of these readings so appreciate it, lol. The show then leads into the social media shout-out.
