On this episode teaser of  "Trek Talks," I share an awesome conversation at Mount Baldy summit (tallest mountain in LA County @ 10,064 feet) with my fellow trekker Mitchel Dumlao who is an award winning director, videographer, and entrepreneur. I wanted to experiment and give the listeners a more raw and "in the moment" feeling of my adventures so I decided to record myself and others while literally hiking up the mountain. I wanted to capture the raw emotion when someone literally reached their peak. This moment was on Sunday, May 24th during Memorial day weekend. 

This teaser is also my submission for the "My Rode Cast competition" for a chance to win a share of $150,000 in podcasting prizes. I thought why not give it a shot and let's see what happens.

What is Trek Talks? Trek Talks is a new series within the Just Trek Podcast where I give the listeners a different and more raw perspective of my adventures. Each Trek Talk episode will feature a different mountain, trail, or park. Myself along with other hikers share our thoughts and feelings on the trail while literally hiking on it. You can hear us huffing and puffing, the loose dirt beneath our boots,  and the sounds of nature.
