Daniel Davis Talks Moriarty's Return in "Star Trek: Picard"
One of the best things about Picard S3 has been the fan service from TNG, DS9, and VOY; one epic piece of the past just returned in a shocking way! In an episode filled with easter eggs, "The Bounty" brought Riker, Worf, and Raffi inside the Daystrom Institute in search of a secret, one that this week's guest guarded.
Daniel Davis just made his comeback to the Star Trek Universe, reprising his role as Moriarty, who appeared twice in Star Trek TNG, "Elementary, Dear Data" and "Ship in a Bottle." Davis chatted with me about how he was brought into the show, what's different about this version of Moriarty, the changes of being on a Star Trek set since his last time on the show, working with Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Michael Dorn, and Michelle Hurd, and much more, including a story about his previous appearances, and his time on "The Nanny" with Fran Drescher.
