Some of the craziest, accidentally amazing movies came around the turn of the decade from the 80s to the 90s.

TREMORS, starring Kevin Bacon and a perfectly cast cadre of characters as the inhabitants of a tiny town in Nevada taken over by giant subterranean worms with tongues like anacondas, was one of these such movies.

It's the kind of "B-movie" that becomes an "A-movie" when you add great character acting, a slick script that knows what it is, and a director that keeps the tension and the comedy coming in equal measures.

Alex (who is writing this) obviously loves it, but could Kate even get through the movie without running and hiding under her bed? And will she concede that the movie is great? Or will she decide to GET THE FLICK OUTTA HERE?
