I know especially when you are still trying to figure out your own sense of style these fleeting trends can get you in a chokehold and feel like the easy way out. But how can we participate in them sustainably and move away from our style or ‘aesthetic’ being whatever is popular at the time as well as being more selective about the trends we choose to buy into.
