On Friday's episode Salima Hamirani get in touch with Yvonne Helle, Country Director of the United Nations Development Program, on the ground in Haiti details the potential damage Irma might do to the already hurricane devastated nation.

To mark the beginning of SF Fringe, Salima speaks with two writers featured this year: Amy Mihyang Ginthe and Kim Chinh. Fringe seeks to highlight shows often left out of more mainstream theater worlds, some with progressive political themes that engage with race, immigrant legacies, and gender.
