Democracy relies on a strong public square, where neighbors can connect with each other. The erosion of local news in recent years is no less than a threat to Democracy. On this month’s “A Public Affair” hosted by Community Foundation Boulder County, we interview journalists Silvia Solis, Glenda Russell and Chris Barge about a new, local reporting fellowship they are all part of, which seeks to strengthen our local news and information ecosystem and point us all towards a more equitable Boulder County.
