January 1997. AFC Bournemouth were in dire straits. The club was on its knees and struggling to keep going. It could have spelled the end of the club. However one man had different ideas and it is a pleasure in this first half of a two part interview to be joined by that man - Trevor Watkins - whose actions in rallying a strong team and the fans saved the club from extinction.
