Are we living our life through the narratives and experiences of other? Or are we living through a personal relationship with God Himself. There’s a Heaven and Earth difference between the two.

A life that is lived based on the experiences and testimonies of others border on living someone else’s life. It simply means that we’re living our unique, personal and independent life on the basis of how another person has understood God. Whether that person has a unique and personal relationship with God is another question altogether.

On the other hand, living through the revelation of the Spirit, causes us to live a unique life which is based on personal relationship with Him. God wants us to know Him for who He is. He wants to reveal life to us personally. That’s why He gave us the Holy Spirit.
