Are you exhausted from trying to earn what God has already freely given? This week we had guest minster, Ps Kaiden Ritchie of Calvary Church, New Mexico. Ps Kaiden preached a word rooted from Galatians 3:1-3 that cuts straight to the heart of one of the greatest traps believers fall into — trading the power of the Holy Spirit for the empty effort of human works. The difference between a life built on sweat and a life built on oil is everything. You cannot produce spiritual fruit through human effort alone. As Jesus reminds us in John 3, flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. Real transformation, real holiness, real fruit — it all flows from daily dependence on God, not from performing for him. You have been consecrated, set apart, and made holy through the blood of Jesus. Put down the staple gun. Stop trying to manufacture what only he can give. Come back to the Spirit who fuels everything.

What does it truly mean for Jesus to be YOUR Lord? This Sunday, we were invited into a moment of consecration - a laying down of every weight and sin that keeps us from running our race of faith with endurance. Hebrews 12:1 calls us to strip away what entangles us, not by striving, but through the empowering work of the Holy Spirit. Like John the Baptist declared in John 3, "He must increase and I must decrease." That is the cry of a surrendered heart - and it is the cry the Lord is stirring in this church right now. As we enter TENT REVIVAL week, this is where we begin: on our knees, asking the Holy Spirit to search our hearts as David prayed in Psalm 139, confess what He reveals, and receive the freedom Christ died to give us. There is no condemnation, only His kindness leading us to repentance and deeper intimacy with Him.

What are you doing with the blessing God has given you? Last night, Sam Wrener brought a powerful word from Matthew 25 that challenged us to stop asking "what do I have to do?" and start asking "who do I have to become?" to steward everything God has placed in our hands. Through the Parable of the Talents, we were reminded that the reward of faithful stewardship is not simply more blessing — it is entering into the joy of the Master. That is our deepest invitation. Not titles, not platforms, not achievements, but a genuine, abiding relationship with Jesus (John 15:4). The Master is coming back. The question is: are you ready? Whether it is your finances, your family, your career, or simply the gift of life itself — God has entrusted something to each of us. Let us be a people connected to the vine, trusting the Father like children, and continually filled with His Spirit. If you missed it, come be part of what God is doing at Tribes Church. What if God's answer to your limitations is not "try harder" but "watch what I can do"? This Sunday, we explored the story of Gideon in Judges 6, a man hiding from his enemies who was called a "mighty man of valour" before he had done a single brave thing. God did not see Gideon as he was. He saw who Gideon would become. When Gideon's army of 32,000 was reduced to 300 against 135,000 enemies, it was not a mistake. It was God ensuring the glory would belong to him alone. The same principle applies to every impossible situation you are facing right now. The charge from this message is simple: remember what God has done in your life, and trust that what he has called you to is already accomplished in his hands. Your testimony has power. Your obedience matters. You have a place in this.

What God can do in seven days will leave you speechless. This past week, our church witnessed a miracle in motion as a Future Faith offering that stood at $681,000 just one week ago surpassed $1.2 million. When you place your yes in the hands of Almighty God, nothing is wasted and nothing is impossible. In Luke 17, ten lepers were cleansed, but only one returned to fall at the feet of Jesus in gratitude. Today we chose to be that one. Before a single wall is touched or a room is built, we returned to thank the God who exceeded every expectation. Generosity is not an obligation, it is an invitation. And when a church says yes together, the harvest is beyond what we could ask, think, or imagine. To God be all the Glory. Tune in as we celebrate what the Lord has done and press forward into all He has prepared.

Every seed has a story. Behind every act of generosity is a life being transformed by the gospel. This Sunday we were reminded that what we sow in faith does not just touch those around us — it reaches generations we may never meet. From a Bible passed down through four generations, to testimonies of provision, restored finances, and young people encountering the Holy Spirit for the first time — we saw the fruit of seeds faithfully sown. As Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 9:10-11, God multiplies the seed of the sower and increases the harvest of righteousness, enriching us in every way so that generosity overflows in thanksgiving to Him. We are not building rooms for the sake of rooms. We are building room for revival, room for the next generation, room for God to be glorified. Every gift bears fruit. Every life is worth it. And the best is still ahead.

On Thank You Sunday, we were reminded that the greatest gift we have ever received is not comfort or prosperity, but the forgiveness of sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness, and today we lifted that banner high. We explored what it means to be a people who are not just receivers of grace, but responders to it. Drawn from 2 Corinthians 9, we learned that God loves a cheerful giver, one who has decided in their heart, not out of compulsion, but out of gratitude for all He has done. Generosity is not about what is in your hands, but what has gripped your heart. When grace takes hold, giving becomes worship. Your seed goes where you cannot, producing righteousness, thanksgiving, and souls for the kingdom. What if generosity was not about what God wants from you, but about what he has already given you? That is the heart of this week's message from 2 Corinthians 8:9-15. The grace of Jesus Christ, who though He was rich became poor so that we might become rich, is the foundation for everything we do with open hands. Grace does not just change what we believe about money. It changes how we live, how we give, and who we become. When the grace of God grips your heart, desire follows, and desire leads to action that cannot stay locked inside. What if generosity had nothing to do with how much you have? The Macedonian church gave out of extreme poverty and severe affliction, yet Paul called it an overflow of wealth. Why? Because their giving wasn't driven by circumstances. It was driven by the grace of God working within them. This week, Ps Cody Byrne reminds us that true generosity begins with a revelation of who God is. He did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all (Romans 8:32). When that truth gets into your heart, it changes the way you hold everything, your time, your words, your resources, your life. Paul challenged the Corinthian church to excel in this grace also (2 Corinthians 8:7). That same call is for us today. Not out of compulsion, but out of trust in a Father who owns it all and lacks nothing. Are you in a season of waiting? This Sunday, TRIBES very own Madison Bothe brought a powerful word reminding us that waiting is not passive — it is active trust in the Promise Keeper. From Hebrews 10:35-37, we were challenged to hold fast to our confidence in Christ, embrace patient endurance, and keep doing the will of God. Whether you have been waiting months or years, God has not forgotten you. He is not late. Madison gave us practical handlebars from Scripture for the middle season: thank God and remember His faithfulness, surrender to heaven's calendar, take God at His Word, use what is in your hand, celebrate others, and resolve that Jesus is enough.
