His debut album Kristofferson (1970) introduced us to iconic songs and he eventually fell into movie stardom with legendary roles like Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (1973), A Star Is Born (1976) — for which he won a Golden Globe — and the Blade trilogy (1998–2004).
