We get back to our Duke Class of '98 roots with an hour-long interview with Ricky Price (4:00-1:06:00). We learned a lot and are grateful that Ricky brought it and kept it 100 with us. His analysis about recent Duke teams and candor about his own up and down career at Duke were both impressive. Hear what he's up to now (6:00-9:00), evaluating today's young talent (9:00-14:00), and his thoughts on Kyrie (14:00-16:00). Then we get into his recruiting (16:00-18:00), his tumultuous freshman year at Duke and what it was like to play without Coach K with the team (18:00-24:00) and how this past season reminded him of his freshman year, and the coaches and teammates who became coaches and his own coaching aspirations (25:00-30:00). Hear Ricky describe his sophomore year, best year of his college career, a buzzer-beater at Maryland and it being a foundational year for the program (30:00-34:00). Then Ricky candidly opens up about the trevails of his junior and senior years at Duke, how he felt about it at the time, how it affected his professional career and relationship with the coaching staff (36:00-50:00). The interview closes with him touching on the extent of his post-Duke basketball career, and gives us his thoughts on this year's recruiting prospects and how excited he is about Tre Duvall, Wendell Carter, Gary Trent and the possibility of Marvin Bagley.
