#Triggered has over 8.7m posts on Instagram. The posts range from sarcastic memes to posts about some very serious subjects such as addictions and PTSD. In general, though, people seem to complain about being triggered, but I actually think that we can and should, reframe how we view and experience our triggers. They tell us a lot about ourselves and what we are continuing to, and haven’t yet, worked through in our personal development.
I offer some suggestions on how to work through your triggers. Here is a little cheat sheet for you to use in your own personal reflection time.
