Behind The Scenes with Andrew Bowen, The Street 91.9FM

Andrew is based in Trinidad and Tobago, he’s currently Program Director / Production Manager / Afternoon Drive guy on The Street 91.9FM.

In the show he gives his 5 tips for Radio Imaging:

  1. EQ – learn as much about how to use it and your mixes should instantly improve.
  2. BPM/Key – use the Camelot wheel – makes your work sit together much more nicely.
  3. Sound Effects – you have to know when and how to use them, don’t over do it!
  4. Stay open to learning.
  5. Evoke emotion. If it doesn’t evoke emotion from you, your listeners won’t get it.
