This morning, as we celebrate Mother’s Day and honor the vital calling of motherhood, we continue our “Tripping Hazards” series in 2 Corinthians 6–7. Paul warns us about the dangers of being “unequally yoked” with unbelievers, a picture from Old Testament law that highlights the spiritual risks of close partnerships with those not sharing our faith. We’re called to stand apart, to close the door to compromise, and to pursue holiness as those set apart for Christ. Let’s examine our relationships, guard our hearts, and encourage one another in living distinct lives marked by God’s presence and grace.
