The passion I am currently pursuing in my life is raising two very decent, respectful, kind, free-thinking, and independent daughters. We line in a very difficult day and age. Generation Z has grown up in a world with a tremendous amount of social, academic, and financial pressure. We didn't have social media growing up and we lived much simpler lives. I'm teaching them that it is ok to go against the grain especially when you know in your heart that you are doing the right thing. I'm teaching them to be grateful for all of their blessings even when they are going through a dark day. I'm teaching them to respect others and treat everyone how they would like to be treated.

I consider myself to be the kind of person who works hard, loves my family, friends, God, and my country. I try to see the goodness in people and try to look at all situations from a positive point of view. Even though all of these very tough times our country has endured these past six months, I feel that this has been an opportunity to learn and grow from it. It has allowed so many of us to put things into perspective and concentrate on matters that have true meaning in our lives.

The impact I intend to make in the world is to give back because I feel so fortunate to have been blessed with many gifts.

The people that have inspired me to pursue this passion are my parents because they are two people that grew up very poor monetarily but rich in love, devotion to family, and helping others. My parents are the first ones to help a friend in need or to help out a certain community organization when they desperately need help. When they were young, they never felt sorry for themselves or their circumstances. They just focused on working hard and being good people. They instilled in me love, kindness, respect, and generosity. I hope to continue their legacy and pass it on to my daughters and future generations.
