Grew up in the small town of Foster near Melbourne in Australia, played a lot of sports like Australian Rules Football; got injured oftenAt age 15, had an opportunity to work with a Physio Therapist (like a a Physical therapist in the states); didn't really like itReally wanted to be a medical doctor; but didn't score well enough for medical school; big disappointmentHis mother convinced him to attend college anyway, got into a Science and law program; rediscovered Physio Therapy and decided to pursue that in collegeWorked in private practice for a while pursing his dream to help elite athletes play better; not as fulfilling as he thought that would beWent back home to figure out what was next; start working 12 hours a week at a nursing home helping the elderly improve movementReceived referrals to many other elder care facilities and soon he realized he had more work than he could handleFirst he found a partner physio therapist to help him part-time; eventually he grew that into a businessAfter he was running his business for several years; realized that he was a problem and that he needed to create a better business culture
