Welcome and thanks for listening.

Introduction

Welcome to The Red Pill Report

Thanks for listening and a brief explanation of who and what The Red Pill Report is…

Interview with Professor Peter Ridd.

Andrew chats with Professor Peter Ridd physicist, an author, and a former professor at James Cook University, North Queensland, Australia.

Last year Peter was fired by James Cook University after saying that Great Barrier Reef science institutions were untrustworthy due to their systemic lack of quality assurance processes. This was after a distinguished career of over 30 years working on the Great Barrier Reef and at the university.

Andrew talks with him about his academic career and how this came to a head with his being fired from his professorship, and how untrustworthy much of science is. Science that we think of as solid because it is stamped as “Peer-reviewed science!” and the need for a body to rigorously check scientific findings that governments are going to build policy on.
