A truck driver has died after losing control of his vehicle on Slate Quarry Road near Meredith, south of Ballarat, around 8am. The truck was carrying racehorses and overturned on a tight bend. Two horses on board also died at the scene, with WorkSafe notified and investigations ongoing into the cause of the crash.
