Romans 2: 1-4, 11-13, 29
God is kind, tolerant, and patient. He desires for everyone to find repentance and to live an inward, circumcised life, which can only be achieved by living with His Spirit. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we welcome His Holy Spirit, who is our helper and counselor here on earth.
As Gentiles, we can maintain a connection with God without undergoing outward circumcision, because God looks at the heart. As Proverbs 4:23 states, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." God sees our hearts and judges us based on their purity and light.
Today, I encourage you to reflect on the condition of your heart. Are you able to live an inward, circumcised life? Are you guided by God's Holy Spirit? He is waiting for everyone to find repentance and accept His kindness, tolerance, and patience, as His kindness leads us to repentance, as mentioned in verse 4. Salvation begins with God with the sacrifice of Jesus and then we are guided by His Spirit. Find peace with God and connect with Him today.
