At 5:20 p.m. on October 2, 2002, a single shot was fired through a window of a Michaels craft store. The bullet missed Ann Chapman by a few inches. No one was injured and the shot was assumed to be random...No Serious Alarms Were Raised... It was the start of the D.C. sniper attacks.
